What is Paint Correction
To achieve a single stage correction in automotive detailing, the first step is to perform a thorough exterior clean of the vehicle to remove any dirt and grime. This initial clean sets the foundation for the process. Next, a decontamination stage is essential to cleanse the paintwork, removing embedded contaminants such as tar, tree sap, and industrial fallout. Only after this essential preparation should you proceed with paint correction using a machine polisher. It’s important to recognise that some paints are softer than others, so understanding the specific characteristics of the paint is crucial. This knowledge allows you to select the appropriate pads and products to effectively remove defects while achieving a high-quality finish that retains the integrity of the paint, this is especially important on motorcycles as they generally have thinner & softer paint than most other vehicles!

We carefully consider the thickness of the clearcoat, measuring it prior to commencing the correction process to ensure optimal results without compromising the integrity of your paintwork.
